I suppose I should start off with something:-

my son gave me his snake's first shed skin for a mother's day gift one year.

For my birthday just gone, one of my friends bought me a set of Muji walkie talkie's so we could chat during and cut down on phone bills. As he works in Shepherds Bush and I work in Bloomsbury I realised very quickly it was going to be a non-starter as the working radius of the walkie talkies is 500 meters.

Still, nice thought though.

My dad got walkie talkies for him and my mum so she could talk to him when he was down his shed, but she wouldn't use it. Solved it by getting a doorbell so at least she can call him up for drinks and food!

My sister got me the Bush Trucker Trial chocolate box for christmas. She could tell I was impressed by the utterly gormless expression I had on my face while opening it.

To make things worse, half of the chocolates were filled with curry power. CURRY POWDER!

OMG!it's so odd to get stuff like curry in chocolates but my mate had some before with other equally distasteful centres........ well i.e. to be in chocolates. Weird really. Rolling Eyes

My friend gave me a promotional whirlpool/ariel t-shirt which he got through the post for some reason.

I wore it for the whole day since he went to the effort of wrapping it

A beating heart. Yeah, my mum gave it to me.

I've used it every day since, although I've shared it a few times.
And I didn't leave it in San Francisco, either... I'm not that careless! Laughing
Probably the best present I ever had.
