my other half likes games like that: painkiller;half-life2;quake2
i prefer age of empires type games or world of warcraft although i also play final fantasy online; which is alot harder than wow. for one thing after level 12ish you have to go in parties to kill monsters to level. And it takes 6 ppl to kill 1 monster for decent xp. in that situation its a lot more critical that you have the right party members (job wise) and they fulfill their role reasonably well. I like the way you have one character but you can switch jobs any time you like but you have to level them all separately and theres quests for extra jobs. i have my character has red mage 42 white mage 41 black mage 41 and some others lower that i used for certain things.
