dont know if youre still looking for something to try but apart form the never ending list is FPS out there i would also say try something like EverQuest 2 if your like RPG's, ive been playing it for about 8months or so now, it can be quite addictive!

there is a free demo you can download to try it that lets you play on the newbie island where everyone starts out.

the only problem with these types of game are you have to pay a monthly subscription, i think it works out at about £10 or there abouts.. and the other thing is with EQ2 at least you would need a pritty good PC to play it.

Just make sure you never, ever play World of warcraft, that game swallows lives

The problem is World of Warcraft is such a great game and is loads of fun. Most of the fun is in the community, been playing WoW for over a year now. Still enjoy it thoroughly. I'm going to suggest World of Warcraft. A great game for casual and serious gamers (it has a great female userbase as well).

It doesn't swallow my life as much as my work does, and you build friendships with people from all over Europe.

Games started to go downhill when the industry started to turn everything 3d. Give me an old 2d platformer like Manic Miner or Chuckie Egg any day. Just clean simple fun without lots of killing, gangs, guns, drugs etc.

I write simple games for a hobby, even had a few published back in the 80s and 90s. It's remarkable to see how much games have changed since then.

I was going to suggest World Of Warcraft or Everquest as well, a lot of ladies play them and love it. Eve online is also a great online game too. Age of empires is fun, but lots of people cheat online.

I would also suggest grabbing an xbox360, there are loads of ladies online there, you make a friends list very quickly, and although you can handle yourself, then men always look after the ladies so they don’t get hit on or abuse verbally. Its a great community.

Okay, the title caught my eye and I am glad somebody mentioned at least one of the games I play online. EVE ftw and today is kali release day \o/ I am most happy at the moment Very Happy Pity I cannot play till tomorrow Sad Hope you guys set longish skills Wink

Anyways, Another good online game that the WoW players hate is Guild Wars. 3rd installment of the game came out recently and it is a perfect balance between the first and second ones. All games are standalone by the way. I am not a big fan of WoW and will probably never play it. Apparently Everquest 2 is also bloody good and one of the final fantasy games as well. I cannot remember which one it is, but I think it might be the 11th. Currently playing the 8th atm Very Happy

If any of you are in need of help in either GW or EVE, I am sure that I can help.
