I once raised a horse from a foal that was called "Orion's Oscar" and he was a lovely horse who would follow you out of a field without a head-collar.

If I could have afforded to keep a horse as a pet, I simply wouldn't have sold him ...

However for a racing horse, I think I'd go for "Milligan's Verse" in recognition of the Bard of Ahmednagar and former Goon.

I'd call mine "The Old Nag" cuz "The Old Nag is bringing up the rear and crosses the finishing line 3 hours after all the others have finished" is generally what I hear when I put a bet on.


And no, I wouldnt expect to make any money out of it!
