That's just sad dude...

If you achieve the fun on a date by playin video games and/or if video games steal your dating time.

I do know people where that does or did happen. Gaming can be a real addiction

I'm a huge gamer, but it doesn't creep into my social life. You need to make time for both.

And why can't gaming be your social life? I play role playing games, five friends and myself meet up once a week and play games for a few hours. I'm in three a week. Then I LAN with a crowd of ten or so friends on a Friday, meet up online with other friends on a Saturday. I have a great social life with many friends and am a massive gamer, gaming every night almost. Hell, both of my exs were gamers. We'd spend hours playing co-op games together.

That said, I may be misreading what you said, but just throwing up a possible defence argument either way. And for the record, I do do other things than just game, but it's by far the most fun. Razz

I find that dating is having an adverse affect on my gaming time, bloody social life getting in the way of my precious fallout and daggerfall time...

Sometimes Fallout is just that important.

I love gaming but i never let it interfere with my social or sports life.

I prefer too go out with mates than stay inside and play Xbox...no matter how much i love it i can never play it more than 7-8 hours.

Social Life?

What social life? I gave it all up for playing games and surfing the net...

Either that or building 'things' in my garage...

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 & 2 for me... That and the motorbike, women are pretty much surplus to requirements...

Currently, my pile of unifnished games:

Bioshock;
Bioshock 2;
Fallout 3;
Grand Theft Auto IV;
Guitar Hero - World Tour;
Guitar Hero III;
Watchmen - The End Is Nigh parts 1 and 2;
inFamous.

This may or may not be related to the amount of travelling I have done to and from London over the past 18 months. Very Happy

I guess I'm a double offender here - not only a gamer but also working in the lower stratas of the video games industry

Being involved with games on a professional level killed some of my passion for gaming though...

I feel I can be of some help here.

If anyone is finding a game particularly time-consuming, then let me know. I will tell you how the game ends and voilà! Your issues will be solved. And you can finally step out, into the world of Outer Side. And race wasps or something.
