I don't understand why this site doesn't let you send messages in paragraphs or fill profile boxes in paragraphs. If you do, the spaces get deleted and it all gets squashed together. Any chance of at least allowing for paragraphs in messages?

I'm with you on that. And yet, when you reply to a message, you can see that the paragraphs were there all along... they just don't make it to the message.

Weird.

I think line breaks are actually pretty important for formatting, especially in your profile. I would certainly like it if they were available.
I've even tried using a bit of HTML to see if that worked, alas, no joy.

I completely agree.

It may seem unimportant, but it's inclusion would make profiles look neater, smarter and people would be more inclined to read a long profile.

I have just come cross this limitation too.
When I read back one of my own messages it looked as thought it had been written by an idiot. (Well OK it had been, but you know what I mean).

Poor formatting does not convey a good impression of the author and I need all the help that I can get!
