Maybe i'm being thick here but surely limiting users to 3 or 4 messages per minute is better than having 100 messages per minute clogging up the system? As i say, you'll never totally eradicate it, only reduce it. Also, there isn't a universal, single solution to this problem - you can only implement several reduction factors to maintain control.

yes, but i have changed it last night....before i could set it officially online

primarily it is against the nigerian/ghana scammers/spammers as well as the russian/ukraine marriage agencies.

the best thing to do is if every member tries to click on the junk mail button whenever someone receives such a message....or to report dodgy profiles.

there are far more members then spammers/scammes,

maybe 170,000:1-10(?) so if we all work together they have no chance !

so the website needs you to keep it "clean"!

I love the new feature Toby, makes it much more clear when you are mailing back and forwards.

And boys with all the jargon .............. eh???????????
