Ok, so maybe I'm doing something wrong but when I click on home, then go to my local area (birmingham), there's a list of possible matches. Fine. So I click on one of them, add them to my 'people I want to meet list', or say 'no' then the internet takes you to a 40 year old lady from scotland.

I think it would be good if there was a search function on the site (not the forums) where you could search for men/women, in a given area, in a certain age range. Then once you've sent them a message or done whatever it is you wanted to do, it takes you to another result from that search function and so on.

Or maybe I've missed something and there already issuch a search engine.

The search seems to have disappeared but you can do this: on main dating site go to bottom of page...



Then the locations will show:



click on your desired location & this will give you an option to search:

Helps me too. I've been using the search at the side which is good for finding people in my local area but not so good with ordering them by last login etc.

I got results of people who have not logged in since creating their profile a year ago.

It would be nice to have these filtered out completely. If they have created a profile over 3 months ago for example and not logged in since creating it, they shouldn't really come up on a search as I'd class it as being inactive.

I would also like to see search results ordered by whether or not they have an "about me" section. Seeing so many with nothing about them at all makes it difficult to know what to say in an initial email. I'd rather they went to the end of the list. However, when you create a profile, it does say it's optional but I think it should mention that you probably won't get many contacts without it.
