If you live in the USA and are over 17 and date someone who is 16 you are a criminal...which is weird. I think in some states it is probably even a crime to date someone who is 17 when you are 21 or 20 when you are 21 ....

In most European countries, you are not a criminal if you are, let's say 22 and date a 15 year old.....and nobody takes any offence...

I am not sure about the UK...what does the law say about a 22 year old dating a 15 or 16 year old?

As long as there is no sexual activity involved under the age of 16 it is not a crime. However her parents are most likely to do a tapdance on your face
