Would be good if we could have personal messages just for the message boards. Also there could be some kind of alert that you have received a message, at the top of the board.

I've got mail notification on that sends a messaget to my inbox, and I have an alert on my desktop whenever I have a new message, regardless of email program being open or not.

I'm notified by email as well, its good because you can read them before you open them Wink, but my main point was having a PM system just for the message board separate from the dating site. Probably wont happen but just a suggestion.

There's a lot of little broken things, and things that could work better, but the owner doesn't seem to have the time to get them done, which is a shame really.

I can see why he doesn't just turn on PMs here, though. I think the idea of having 2 separate sets of PM systems is a bad idea. It wouldn't, or at least shouldn't, be too hard to have notification of messages appear on the forum. It just requires a little time and energy to do code it.

The PM system does need updating IMO, at least so you can edit and delete them. I've often sent PMs and thought some of it was a bit lame and wished I could change them before the person [mainly women] received them...and wanted to totally delete some PMs for various reasons.
