i have been trying to upload a picture a few tiems now and it keeps saying the same thing, invalid file type and it's a jpeg, high resolution and everything, can someone tell me what to do

You have to stare at the screen for a few minutes, with a hard, squinty, constipated Clint Eastwood 'Make my day!' look in your eyes.
Then you say, 'Right, you bastardin', fukkin', whorin' piece of shit... You have one last chance!'
Have the 4 lb lump hammer ready and wave it in front of the screen.
(A hickory handled one is recommended.)

Or you could try uploading a different photo.
It's rejected some of mine. It happens...
Work around it.
