keep getting signed out of this site? Ooppsss maybe this isn't the right forum for this topic lol! Can you tell i'm new here |
This question was asked in the Sex forum by mistake …..I thought I'd give a quick (plain English) explanation of how I assume the login works ....
Although I can’t speak for God and how the FB site works, I thought I’d mention that many web sites that require login use session/session cookies for the duration of the visit (e,g, your online banking), which usually have a pre-defined time setting, where the session expires either after a specific time or a specific time of inactivity (i.e. you close your web browser, etc). There are ways to tell your browser/computer to ‘remember’ you and force a persistent login, but in some ways the way it works now is also a security feature – e.g. if you use a public computer to access FB and you forget to log out when you leave the computer ….. well, you can imagine the embarrassment if someone else had access to your account!
