whats it about. and who chooses them as the top 50?

it depends on how many times ppl view ur profile, or it could b how many ppl add u 2 ur favourites that gets u on there, def one of the 2. notice how toby's number 1 though? bless.

I think it's cool that thre seems to be a load of guys on there who seem quite normal. Its not just a "Gallery of Studs" if you know what i mean. Sure there seem to be a few posers on there, but theres also some on there who arent exactly great looking, and its reassuring to know that personality still counts for something. I see some of the girls on the top 25 list have resorted to begging lads to vote for them, lol thats a bit sad but i can see how it would make a girl feel good to see herself on the list.

Oh and yes, incase you were wondering, of course i am envious of the guys on the list, but i wont lose any sleep over it

shame there is no bottom 50 for us old timers to feature in......

Currently it is the number of people who have added you to their favourite's list....sometimes it is the number of profile views. The number of sent messages is used once in a while when I want to detect the spammers....

One of the reasons why I "happen" to be on #1 is because I have been on the website since the first day and apart from that i sent a newsletter to everyones Inbox once and "accidentally" sent it as "Toby" so everyone looked at my profile and I received lots of messages and a certain pertentage added me to their favourites' list.

Hottest guys/girls is wrong though, as it is "Most popular" members - but maybe some day there will be a profile rating feature and then there will be another top50 list with the most sexy members - and I doubt that I will be still on #1 then

There's probably thousands of profiles who haven't received any messages, or have had only a couple of views? How would you pick the "top 50" ?

everyone has the chance to get on the list - even people that are not photo models.....the more active you are on the website and the more people you try to meet on here, the more popular you get automatically...

i personally think this top 50 thing is a bad idea..why do we need one?..do people REALLY care?..it smacks of trying to be the most popular kid at school syndrome to me..but thats my opinion..
and if they are so popular, why do they need to be ranked to show how popular..to boost ego's? we can already see how active people are by seeing how many posts they have posted..there might even be people out there who get down with themselves because they cannot get onto such a list..
Just cant see a reason to have a top 50..I havent even looked at the top 50..
