there should be two links in the email... one to bring you to the site to confirm manually i think and the other confirms it automatically.... click the second link.

all links in my email resulted in sending myself an email..lol even clicking on the link to go to the confimEmail page...so thought..its dodgy..lol
anyway all done now so i will still be showing my face..you poor things..lol
