Yesterday was a nightmare trying to send messages, I repeated so many but they got shorter every time, now I can't remember what I wrote in the messages which went. It was so 'hit and miss' so sorry if anyone out there thought I was ignoring them! I hope it's better today, but haven't tried yet.

Funny, I don't know how to turn myself back into a woman, but somehow know about messages being lost when someone closes a profile! I'm sure you'll get over her Very Happy

Sad I've just come down from Norfolk to London, using my daughter's pc and Broadband, and I'm still having the majority of my replies vanishing. I really don't think it's me, but I am so GETTING FED UP WITH IT!!!! Any ideas anyone? Please?
Sorry to anyone who thinks I couldn't be bothered to reply. Try again, because another time the message might go.........Hello to aDecentGuy by the way! Very Happy

Don't really see why you should lose messages just because someone else deletes his or her profile, deliberately or otherwise. Sometimes those messages might well have contained useful points of reference for you.

The people I am replying to, are still active, and still waiting for my anwers to what they've written, but I may write a couple of messages then the next one, just tells me about errors, but I've done nothing different, it's just some will get sent and others won't, it's real 'hit and miss'. But Rolling Eyes it's so annoying if I've written a lot and then vanishes, as my options then are:
TO GIVE UP and just let the other person think I can't be bothered to reply
RE-WRITE as many times as I need to, until the odd time , when it will actually be sent.
WAIT FOR ANOTHER DAY/S as maybe it will a different person that I have more problems with.
WELL I TRIED TO DRAW ATTENTION TO MY PROBLEM BY WRITING SOMETHING UNDER MY 'DISLIKE' SECTION ON MY PROFILE, BUT SINCE FEW MEN SEEM TO READ THE PROFILE, THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER.

Thanks for listening to me moan, but I'm not normally a moaner, quite the opposite in fact it's just that I'm so frustrated by all this!! Rolling Eyes Crying or Very sad Mad

Have you tried Pm'ing the site admin???? Look for a user called Toby and send him a message. He's the boss and hopefully should be able to find out whats happening

Hi all. I've also had similar messaging problems, except that some of the ones I've sent are shown in my outbox to begin with, but later disappear! In addition one recipients' inbox indicates that there's a message from me, but when they try to access it, apparently there's nothing there! It's so frustrating and such a waste of time. After suffering this peculiar situation for several days I think I'm going to have to admit defeat and give up. Have sent an enquiry via the feedback facility by the way, but so far no response. Best wishes to everyone by the way.

Thanks for the suggestion; I'll keep it in mind and make sure that I always use a 'title' from now on, although as far as I know the same problem has presented itself whether or not the subject box has been empty.

Thanks for all suggestions, have been putting stuff in each box anyway. Confused Rolling Eyes Tried doing messages fast and slow, everything really! Shame we don't have a box on the top of our profile page just to put a message for the day if we want, then I'd be able to let folk know, plus it could be for a thought of the day, a joke, or not used at all.

Me too. I sent a message last night and it is not showing in my outbox. The sent figure in my 'Your Messages' is correct but the number of messages in my outbox is -1, i.e. one less than it should be. Is this a bug or is there any explanation for this?
