Every time I log into the dating part of the site that messenger thing starts up. I find it slows my browser down and I never use it anyway. Is there a way to disable it please?

I was wrong. As soon as I closed my browser and cleared the cookies it was back again.

So still looking for a way to disable the messenger as it slows my browser down and I don't think I should be forced to have it anyway!

You can try to just logout from the messenger...then it loads more quickly. There is no option yet to switch it off but this is just a trial period anyway.

Thank god, god, hehe, i dont want that, i wont even use it on facebook, does my nutt in, i set my settings so they wouldn't see me as online when i am in the forums, but that dont work either, when ever i am logged on i get messages coming in, when logged off so many less, It's a pain in the bum, as i spend less time online to aviod the messages.
That and touchwood is on byyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeee
