Am I missing something or is my browser playing up, but how do I search for people on this web site. I guess there are many who come here but soon leave as there is no obvious place to click and search profiles. Can someone please explain to me why there is no search buttons on this site. I would like to be able to search people who live in my area but don't know where to click.

Why is there no search button?

You need to search for the search! Laughing
Have a look under 'Flirtbox Help' and then 'How do you search for people by age location etc etc'
HTH - Good Luck!

I'll try that.

I guess what I'm trying to say and point out is why do we have to try and work out how to search people and why is is not clear. Why no obvious search button at the top of the page, etc.

Can anyone explain that?

Always check forum posts first as this question has popped up very recently......

The search seems to have disappeared but you can do this: on main dating site go to bottom of page...

Then the locations will show:

click on your desired location & this will give you an option to search:

Hope that helps a little

Very Happy

Some people say it's to weed out scammers and spammers. It's to make our life a bit more productive and enjoyable.
Others say it's to ensure a certain level of intelligence and determination in Flirtbox users: To improve our chances of finding someone genuine and compatible. Shirley a 'good thing'!
And some say it's a contiguity problem within the 'normal' time-space continiuum itself. And if you just pop into another parallel universe, you'll find the Search button there easily enough.
Of course, the odd programmer will say that the last paragraph is a load of old cobblers (cos they is all odd and experts in continua and parallelograms etc! Razz ): that it's just complex software and that if you try to make it simpler and more elegant; or amend it; or add HUGE new features, etc - your Search button always drops off. 'Well known, mate!' they say.
Some people say... Oh, sod it! You know, don't you? Confused
I just made all these bloody people up! Rolling Eyes

Anything - rather than admit I can't explain. Embarassed

Hi, I'm new to this site and I too am having difficulty searching 4 people in my area. It's all very well searching the town you live in but as i live in the highly populated south-east i dont wanna be doing individual searches on every town within a certain radius. Surely there must be a way of just putting in the criteria you are looking for and the distance from your location, or is that too simple? It's probably there somewhere but not displayed very well....please help Confused

Ohhh! Next thing you'll be saying is you want to be able to search by Post Code, exclude certain age groups and anyone who hasn't logged on for, say, over 6 months!
(OK, I'd like that too, please! Razz )

Hey its taken me 3 years to find my lovely man, do you think your going to have it handed to you on a plate?.........joke

For a dating site that is free surely you can put up with a few missing options...if theres someone out there for you it will happen but dont expect it overnight, btw mine isnt local....think you need to be realistic & broaden your horizons.

Good luck Very Happy
