I've just noticed the groups on some peoples profiles. Do these serve any actual purpose? I joined one and as far as I can see nothing actually happens lol. ANybody care to explain?

I don't belong to any groups either, but may be something only happens if you make it happen.
I have looked at the membership of some groups in order to find out somebody I might like to message if we share a common interest.
Let's hope somebody from an active group can enlighten us????

They don't do anything.

I think the owner intended to do something with them but never actually did.

May be I should think of a group to start up and then 'make' it do something

Yeah, I'm gonna a start a self-serving 'Kadushu Appreciation Group'. There will be a weekly newsletter reminding everyone of how great I am

..seriously though, it could be an interesting feature if it had some substance to it.
