I am having problems with the Chat section of this site. When i click on, the chat link on the left hand side of the page to go into the chat section, nothing happens and therefore can't enter the chat room. Is there any reason for this to happen?

not sure dan as i have never been in there... however i find most website based chat is java orientated so do you have Java installed???

I am sure someone who has actually been in there can correct me if i am wrong

I only joined yesterday but I think the chatroom is only available from 8pm to 2am, although I couldn't seem to get in last night for some reason.

There is an unofficial chat room, an irc, if you're interested.

the chat room is open 8pm to 2am however you may need java to be installed for it to work.... as of this muinute it is not open so i cant tell if it requires it or not

Possibly that the site owner hasnt opened it for one reason or another...dont know. May be a bug in the system

on the java subject, I sometimes chat on another site and asked for java but I cancel it and it still works, dont know if that helps, havent tried the chat rooms on this site yet

It is only open in the evening (8 or 9 I think) for some hours so that there is always enough people in there.....and that some people don't spend the whole day in the chat room. However, sometimes you can't get in, if it is too crowded...so you have to try later.
