This FAQ is intended to answer the common questions that frequently come up about using the flirtbox website & its forums. I'll stsrt it off but if you have any questions (and answers) which you feel would be helpful for others to know post them up with the questions in bold.

Please don't ask questions you don't know the answers to in this thread - search the help forum or create a new thread for that & once you get the right answer add it up here if you think its helpful.

Why are my forum posts squashed into the left hand side of the screen when no one else's are?
This is a glitch that affects everyone, the odd formating is only visible to you, and no one else, when you're logged in. Just log out and view your posts - they all appear normally.

Pictures appear on my profile, but not on my forum posts. How can I fix this?

Go to the My Flirtbox tab, select 'Manage Pictures' choose the picture you want to appear on your forum posts and click flirtbox.net. Then click save at the bottom of the page.

Some of the bands I've added to 'Bands/Musicians I like' have disappeared. How do I get them to show up?

The system which shows bands (and music & authors, etc) is based on popularity, the more popular that band the larger it appears on the screen. While the smallest size is 2 point size any bands less popular won't appear at all. This is because a large number of different bands showing up will slow down the website so flirtbox limits the number of bands listed. The idea is to limit the number of bands listed in order to force people to focus on their favourite ones....and only add the ones they really adore.
If the band you've added isn't sufficiently popular unfortunately you can't make it show up.

How do you chat on Flirtbox?

Go to the Chat tab, then select 'Webcam Chat' You will be loaded into the chatroom and will need to login with your username & password. While a webcam and microphone can be used they're not essential and you can chat without them.
