Home >> Flirtbox Help >> Chat Adobe flash problem

I keep on getting this problem when I try to sign in to the chat... That bloody message saying "Adobe flash player 10 encountered bla bla, your computer bla, abort script".
I click no, and it used to work... After one or two nos, it would start normally... But now it won't. I click no three times and then the chat loads, but it says I'm disconnected and try to connect again. And it does it everytime.
I also have a problem... When shutting down the lappie, a message comes up saying "Some adobe shit is still running somewhere on this computer, if you exit now you lose everything blabla, would you like to exit?"
Any ideas? I've caught my ears in what I read with google about this problem. Don't get a thing. I tried reinstalling adobe, but same crap happens.

Have you cleared all the cache/temporary files from your web browser?
Have you tried uninstalling Flash before reinstalling?
If in doubt: clear cache/delete temporary files; uninstall, then reinstall.
If you have installed and removed quite a bit of software it might be worth running a registry cleaning app - although you need to BACKUP and have a good idea what you're doing.

Noooo, really? =))))))
Problem is... Now I've uninstalled Adobe 10 and installed Adobe 9 and it gives me the same error. I think the problem is with the chat, not with adobe, although nobody else seems to have that problem...
Anyway... Problem is now (yes 10000 problem), I can't find Adobe 9 to uninstall it. It seems to have disappeared into neverland. It's not in the add/remove thing, it's not in the programs thing, it's nowhere the mofo.
Also acquired gnash, which is another flash player, but when I open up the application, nothing much happens... Just a quick pop up with that black DOS screen and it quickly shuts it.
Anyway... Maybe it's a sign to quit the chat foreva, because I'm not going to try and do what you said I should do on this lappie that's quite new and shouldn't give me this shit (the lappie, obviously).
Any other suggestions?
p.s. Thanks for trying to help.

I am using: WIN 10,0,22,87 and it works.
I guess the latest version should work as well......
Maybe a firewall problem?

Mine's the latest. 10,0,42,34
It's not a firewall problem, I've changed nothing in the system since the chat worked last...
I don't get it...
Must be something from my computer if it works well for everyone else... But after installing and reinstalling and such... It still doesn't work. :/
Tried installing Adobe 9, as I said, but it gives the same error.

Are you using Firefox or IE ?
If either of them, try the other browser...or also try:
http://www.google.com/chrome as a browser....

Tried them all. Mozilla, IE, Opera, Chrome - latest versions.
They all give the same error.

i have the same problem too! i've even tried moving to my wireless router, a system recovery, registry cleaner, the lot. and nothing has worked. so my conclusion is is that it is flirtbox which is fooked.
