I've set my account to notify me if I get a message, and on that, it says that if I dont see the message when I sign in, then FB have decided it's spam and have deleted it...

The only problem with that, is FB is deleting lots of messages that are NOT spam!

I've recieved a couple of really nice messages in my email that I wouldn't of recieved if I wasn't notified!

Anyone else having this problem?

Are the accounts of the people who messaged you still active???

I have the very same problem and the messages are not spam, just from regular users. I get the email notification but then find the messages is not in my inbox in FB. I think a few people experience this, as I have seen it mentioned a few times.
