No I am not homeless by choice! I am just priced out of the housing market as rents today are so extortionate! I was also in a squat for several years after leaving a council flat and I only left that because the rent for too dear. Getting rehoused in London is also near impossible I know one friend who has been stuck in a hostel for the past four years and he desperatly wants to get rehoused.

Yes you are...if as you say its too expensive to live in London......well move to somewhere less expensive then or get a job where you can afford it!!!! Sorry but it is a choice to live how you are......you have the power to change it...nobody else can do it for you. London is not the only place in the UK to live

I am really losing my sense of humour with your self pitying!

I moved to London 18 years ago .... I knew no-one and had no money, I took any job I could find (and yes that included working for minimum wage and 7 days a week!).

Your attitude to work and living makes me fekkin mad to be honest - there are bedsits you can rent without paying a deposit - that is what I did, then if you really WANT TO you can get yourself onto the system and have an address etc.

I have come to belive that you are either a fake or you do not actaully want to right yourself - you have been given so much information and advice here and you come back all the time with 'yeh but.,,,,,,'. If you really want to get off the streets why not look into some of the information you have been given, or do you think that you will always know better?

@stonecastle

You could move to India or Thailand....sunny weather where you can live like a King on 3 pounds per day.

Or move to Sweden - anyone can afford to own a house there...or to the Czech republic - your money will buy you more there.

...or probably most other countries in Europe..or the world.

But even in the UK there are far cheaper places then London.

And there, you can afford to live on other food then just fish&chips for 1,40 - and you live 10 or 20 years longer then by your lifestyle with no money in London.

You could lead a better life if you moved away from London temporarily - you could easily get a job as an English teacher somewhere sunny ... then you probably get into a better mood - and who knows, even find a nice girlfriend as you are more relaxed in a different environment.....

he is a lost cause, he says he has got thousands of pounds in the bank but he cant afford to rent a place to live or refuses to pay the prices lol what a joke. theres no point in trying to help the man, we've all tried to offer him some useful advice, he just doesnt want to get back into the real world of work and living. leave the **** to it, he is wasting peoples time talking about getting a girlfriend when he has no fixed abode, its a joke tbh.

How do get a bank account without a valid address anyway?

And how can someone use the internet at all hours if they live under a bush?

I've read through this whole thread and I think this guy is having you all over. Spmeone said in another thread that they'd met him. is heactually homeless then or just a faker?
