I know a good quite pub right in the middle of London which we will have mostly to ourselves as it is not very busy even at weekends. It is the Silver Cross pub in Whitehall. There is a large space right at the very back of the pub where we could all gather.

Maybe I was a bit pished but I have never known the Silver Cross to be quiet!

If we get there early say around 6:30pm it will be pretty quiet at that time. It is a largish pub so there is plenty of room. It is also a damn site quieter at the weekend than the more popular west end pubs in the Soho, Covent Garden and Liecester Square area.

How people usually attend the London meets??? By the way can we now stick to this for the meet up venue:

The Silver Cross Pub, 33 Whitehall, 6:30pm. The pub is open until midnight and serves food. Now all we need is the date.

The Intrepid Fox is closed, plus it was way too small and got very busy at weekends. It was also an alternative pub so people would have had to dress down to get in. The Silver Cross pub is much better. No dress restrictions so people can either dress up or dress down. Plenty of room and very central.

yer i heard that closed down, it was in the evening standard. its a shame as it was a cool place. you could always go to the dublin castle in camden, they usually have live music on, mainly rock music. in fact there is alot of good pubs in camden
