I will come as I am in London, where is the meet up taking place. I like these forum meets as it is much better than going out drinking on your own.

Post subject: Can a non drinker come to meeting? REPLY WITH QUOTE

I would like to come to the meeting, but as I've given up drinking and hopefully soon cigarettes, I wonder what it would be like, still not everyone can drink+smoke (well I used to, but!) that is on this forum/list, so if anyone would like the opportunity to meet me and if it's Ok I will come.

Don't see why you can't go Zandero. It's all about meeting folk and having a good time. Go for it, oh, and welcome to the boards

Post subject: April 7th meetup REPLY WITH QUOTE

Thanks RedOctober, maybe that's why I am single or without any company i.e. deciding I can't go to things because there will be drink+ smoking going on, terrible behaviour that I used to do a often as I had the chance. I hope nothing else is going on, the 7th April. I look forward to meeting you and having a laugh!
The past few days I've had the Flu (not Birds Flu) and thought I was getting better yesterday, but when I woke this morning it was just as bad! I don't get really sick very often so it takes me by surprise, anyway enough of my woes! I'm just aware of a slightly surreal edge to everything I do, especially writing etc.
cheers for now
xxXxx

I know a good quite pub right in the middle of London which we will have mostly to ourselves as it is not very busy even at weekends. It is the Silver Cross pub in Whitehall. There is a large space right at the very back of the pub where we could all gather.
