This is two questions rolled into one really:

1. Please say if you are seriously interested in one place or the other to meet, or either.

2. Name dates that you cannot do, to help me think of a date to name and get people to commit to. I am thinking that it will probably not be any later than the middle of October. Sooner would be nice, though.

I'm going to let this one run for a maximum of a week, and then develop plans based on what people have suggested.

Im up for either, just the last sunday of july and the first weekend in august I cant do

The last weekend of each month is great for me..cos otherwiswe I work most weekends..I will be in Blackpool end of september anyway..so obviously that would be ideal for me..otherwise I would be up for Alton Towers too..

I'll come if others I know are going, Can I bring a friend?

Bringing friends is cool, sarah, i intend to ask some mates of mine. Their gender's none of my concern.

I'll come but i need some notice as i work weekends and will need to book that day off, i cant do the end of july orfirst weekend of august but after that then its fine.

I can possibly come, really depends on the date and whats happening at work I'll be a tad more definate when people start kicking days around

my instinct is the last weekend of august, although if blackpool ended up the choice, then during the illuminations might be a good idea.

The switch on is the 31st of august to the first weekend in november for the illuminations

Well what would everyone choose Blackpool or Alton towers?
