Well something like this actually takes one person to simply say a date and venue...although I lived in Manchester for a year and spent most of it either working or trying to get out of the place.

Not sure thats absolutly true mate.
Newton Heath F.C formed 1878 became Manchester UTD in 1902
West Gorton (St. Marks) formed 1880, became Ardwick A.F.C. in 1887, went on to become Manchester City F.C. in 1894.
