If any forum regulars(i.e. known by others on the forum as a longstanding member) want to come along, you’re welcome – just a friendly meetup amongst some of us who know each other, but don’t feel left out if this is your first time meeting any of us.

Please either indicate interest here or send me a message and I’ll PM you details when available and my mobile number (I’ve activated my FB profile now, so will get messages). Due to the time of year (people having previously arranged holiday commitments), there may not be enough interest, in which case would be happy to arrange another date - in this case, some of us are going to be in the area anyway, and may just have a more informal day on the beach or something (I shall bring my sandcastle equipment )

Unfortunately I'll be running around trying to look athletic again that weekend, this time in Surrey.

Please don't get the wrong impression, I am neither athletic nor to be found running around usually. You just keep picking dates that I happen to be running around. The odds on that happening must be enormous
