Polite Gorilla and I met up at the British Museum today in London, it was a very interesting place (I'd not been since 1984) and I think we both had an enjoyable day.

It was very enjoyable. It was a real pleasure to puzzle and browse our way through Sumerian, Persian and European artefacts.

We stayed until they chucked us ...

Glad you both had a lovely day and the pics are nice too. Funny, when I last went to The British Museum I met a friend who'd come over from Spain for couple of days, and we too were there 'til throwing out time, it's such a great place.

I had a drink after work with some friends in the Museum Tavern opposite the entrance to the museum. If I hadn't have been so excited about pouring guinness down my throat I might have seen you!

We both enjoyed ourselves, it was a grand day out.

However we have decided not to meet up for any such "dates" in future, except for FB meets of course.
