Hi all. What are your favourite foreign films? What are your favourite independent movies? There are quite alot of foriegn and indie movies around but its not often I find one that really amazes me or lives up to its hype. Does anyone have any favourites and recommendations?
(:

Foreign films. I can think of two right now, they're in Spanish and I'd say they're definitely worth a watch, Pan's Labyrinth and The Motorcycle Diaries.

The French have some amazing cinema, I generally hate Dramas but french ones normally keep me interested.

Amelie is a brilliant film, not quite a Drama, but good none the less.

Japanese Horror is normally top quality. I really recommend it if you like Horror in general.
