did you you cry when you first watched watership down?
honest answers please especially from the blokes

Is it a kind of dream,
Floating out on the tide,
Following the river of death downstream?
Oh, is it a dream?

There's a fog along the horizon,
A strange glow in the sky,
And nobody seems to know where you go,
And what does it mean?
Oh, is it a dream?

Nope, not a tear shed for the bunnies.

I do like the film though, keep meaning to get around to reading the book.

I got a bit tearful when I watched the lion king. The girl I was with at the time realy wanted to go see it. I pretended to accidently poke myself in the eye as an excuse for the eyes leaking.

Don't remember crying, but I used to have a bit of a thing about watership down.

As I remember (when I was a girl, lol) it used to be on every Christmas Day and I would make everyone wait to open their Christmas pressies until I'd finished watching it. Much to my brothers disgust.
Very Happy

I cried at Watership Down. Was a teenager in senior school at the time and for some reason my whole class went during school time.

'My heart has joined The Thousand, for my friend stopped running today.'

Not ashamed to say I cried at this when I was younger. Its a fantastic film, but the book is even better.

'A film about rabbits'? Yeah, and Schindler's List was just a film about Jews.

Watership Downs insanely scary! Those killer rabbits with the blood dripping from front teeth scared me as a kid and still do now, and having watched it recently would have to say some of the sequences are a bit trippy, add to the chilled soundtrack, def some goings on in the studio!
