I dont know how recently you lot have checked this out, but there's a new trailer for all you Watchmen fan's. It's great, like the first one, it's straight out of the book/comic.

If it's as good as that trailer it cannot fail.

CANT WAIT! the comic is absolutely sick, the film looks epic enough as long as its treated in isolation from the comic.

V for Vendetta wasn't as good as the comic but in itself it screws with most films, or at least enough to make it mint.

I just want to see a transmet movie, but we don't have the technology yet i don't think. i love reading, love art, love films, love music and the transition from comic to film has all 4... what else do you want?

and oh, i forgot to mention, the last two f*****g BATMAN FILMS!

i also forgot to mention, i mourn the loss of superman, who was killed by a similar hollywood epic conversion, in my mind anyway, thank holy hell there was kevin spacey around to pick up the shattered remains.

So I don't know where my original post about having bought the book has gone Confused

I have now read the book, and I thought it was excellent. I was a little taken aback by the ending at first, but once I let it sink in it I liked it.

Can't wait to see the movie now, even if they have slightly altered the ending.

unfortunately... the film didnt live up to my expectations... they seemed to have just ripped the dialogue straight from the comic... making it a little wooden. a couple of good scenes... but oh dear...
