I've been forced to watch it the last two nights, and combined with comments on facebook (mainly Julie's) it makes an interesting watch. But there are still only two or three real singers.

I kinda get bored with the live finals though. I think dragging them out for 10 weeks is a bit long and by the end of it they all get on my nerves. lol

They're dragging the live finals on for ten weeks?! SO the dream factory can celebrate itself even longer!

I never usually watch, but saw the last two weeks episodes - out of curiosity and flu equally. The two acts that went were useless - so no complaints/scandals there. The campy solo guy was creepy, was he trying have some sort aloof mystique - there seemed to be rumours from the judges of him having a personality? The boy band was pants and had what looked like a young Robert Mugabe in their ranks.

Somebody phoned in to ask why Cowell was being so nice - text vote money obviously.

The strange angsty girl; a kinda Lily Allen/Lady Sovereign/Winewreck combo - who was said to command the 'stage like nobody else' - shuffled about. Diva Fever was funny as they looked like contestants on 90's kids fav Funhouse; one entire half of duo does FA, and moves like quasimodo - when will it be noticed? The Brazilian guy was accused of being 'a bit karaoke' There's a good singer who looks like Jamie Oliver, but I kept thinking where was his band? The Hazel O'Conner/Madonna girl sang a song which only contained 2 lines for her sing-off - presumably so she could actually remember it.

I go along with the only 3 people can REALLY sing (that should be the final right there, they're also seemingly the most modest) - which is bemusing when the contestants are singing others material - where exactly is the talent of most the others?
