Allways been a fan of Tolkien's work ever since i first read the Silmarillion.
So i guess, Lord of The Rings (extended edition) is 1st on my list.

Not the best film in the world but definetly worth watching tonight on filmfour if you are at a loose end.... The Magdalene Sisters at 9pm

Writer-director Peter Mullan's controversial fact-based drama starring Geraldine McEwan, Anne-Marie Duff, Nora-Jane Noone and Dorothy Duffy. In mid-1960s Ireland, three young women are sent against their will to work in one of the Magdalene Laundries run by the Catholic Church.

A perfect display of what people do to each other and try to justify it in the name of religion. well acted, great story and makes you feel a tiny amount of what the real characters must have felt, thats what makes this a great film imo.

Gun katana ? I rememeber hearing the fraise gun kata .But gun katana doesnt make a lot of sense and they did use katana's in the final combat scene. Did I miss something ?

So now Ill have to watch it again what a shame
