I just CANNOT imagine any other actor taking the part of any of the characters....except maybe Jim Carrey as Murdoch.
But to be fair, I dreaded seeing the Starsky & Hutch and The Dukes of Hazard films for the same reasons, and was quite pleasantly surprised.
So who knows? It might not be as bad as it sounds.........

i thought the dukes of hazard remake was horrible.

Dukes could have been worse, it could have been the original "boys" racing around on their zimmer frames pretending to still be young lads! Laughing

Transformers was pretty good, but partly because it wasn't a complete desecration of the TV show I remember. They even used the same voice for Optimus Prime.

Great. Or at least I hope will be. I can see a problem though - it's that I should think that most 'nam vets will be well old by now, so are they supposed to be gulf war vets, or is it set in the 80s?
And who could replace George Peppard?
And BA - I can't really see Ice Cube saying "I aint gettin' in no plane...fool!"

(Ice Cube - stupid bloody name but probably no worse than 'Mr.T.')
