Superhero films are possibly one of the worst genres of film.
Nothing wrong with the idea of a superhero films, but audiences of the genre have become accustomed to poor plotlines and terrible dialogue.
Spiderman 3 is a good example of this.
I want to see a good superhero film, but there are very few out there.
Here they are:

1) Superman - genre definer + really good
2) The Incredibles - best pixar movie
3) The Matrix - modern take and great, bad sequels though!
4) The Mask - funny

That's it. All the others are rubbish! Some people think Batman Begins is a good film, but compare it to a truly good film, such as The Shawshank Redemption, and it falls down flat.

BTW if you really think that SM3 is a good film, you must be a hardcore Spidey fanboy!

All of the 'trilogy' films out now are terrible in my opinion. Spiderman 3 didn't seem to justify it's existence (the second film was awesome), Pirates of the Caribbean was Cack and Shrek 3 looks complete shite. Pardon my language but I can't think of any more apt a term. Are they running out of ideas?

Think they are, very few films appear to be original these days.

Personally I enjoyed Spiderman 3
