Invasion of the Body Snatchers
(The Donald Sutherland one)
Losing your identity; becoming the same as everyone else; being assimilated (becoming part of the Borg); becoming communist/religious zealot/etc.

Can they do it again, please?
Where the ones 'snatched' become more alive, passionate, super intelligent, glowing with good health; ravenously sexual...
Yeah, you're right...
A much shorter film! Razz

(You got it in the right section then? Laughing )
(Where's the rest of your original post? )

How can there be seven replies without a single mention of the original Star Wars trilogy? I'm sure that this must be a first!

My favourite SCI-FI move is Titan AE

It was released I think in 2000 or 2001, was a huge hit!! And it is my favourite movie up until this day.

Visually fascinating, you get attached to the characters, storyline is cool.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys SCI-FI.

Anybody has seen this movie?

I also enjoyed Spielberg's Minority Report. The first Matrix movie is also great. How about Terminator 2??

I'll pretend I didn't read that, I don't think my fragile mind could take somebody being so deluded. Wink
And Darth Vader (whose head is watching me) would probably get the hump too. We all know what a terrible problem with his temper he has.

Serenity is a cool film, and the lead actress (Summer Glau) is gorgeous to boot. I never saw the TV show spin off (Firefly) but I hear that that was good too.

Dune.

I've read the entire series of books by Frank Herbert and find the convoluted plots and sub-plots fascinating. Of all the films I've seen, it's probably the only one I can watch over and over just to follow a different sub plot each time. There are so many plots by each faction sewn into one story that, to tie each one so neatly into each other makes me think Frank Herbert must have been a genius.
