I just watched this for the first time in a while last night, first of all, it’s worth it alone for the “head explosion," but secondly, does anyone have a definitive answer what happened in the very last scene?

Scanners is a classic and one that I watched in the days when you rented Betamax video tapes.

What happens at the end? How can anyone tell you without spoiling the whole film?
