Oh mannnnn i know i'm late watching this and lazy to read the book, but hellllllll, wasn't the film so goooooooood? proper tear jeaker and every fliping guy in it was just...mmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.... the irish accents.. the dark hair.. the stubble.. the dimples.. omg

So many of the irish accents are sooooooo bad...been here 22 years and I haven't seen the part of Ireland where we speak like Scots men putting on bad accents!!!!

The book was much better than the film..I recommend you read it CC..that will defo reduce you to a quivering wreck Very Happy

I rad the book aswell, that had me in tears all the way throught it. The film was good, Gerard Butler... mmmm

I can just about forgive the accent. then he starts dancing about in those shorts and its completely forgotten..........

I saw Sean Connery in the untouchables doing an 'Oirish' accent, I havent laughed so much in my life!

after 300 i had something of a man crush on gerard butler, but not any more. long live king leonidas- he should have stayed type cast forever

Yeah, he should have played all his parts that way.

P.S. I Love You would have been a completely different film.

you're right. i don't condone violence but in film form its grand, so he should have spent his time kicking messengers (postmen) into bottomless pits and marching around in his underwear. why shave the beard aswell? makes no sense
