Apparently theres another one called Paranormal Entity..same style, different story..and i think its a true story aswell.

Asylum wanted to make a movie similar to the successful "Paranormal Activity," but they first wanted to see how the $10,000 movie would perform in theaters. Well, "Paranormal Activity" has already surpassed $100 million and Asylum has now announced that their "Paranormal Entity" movie is being fast-tracked. It will hit stores on December 29th, the same exact date that "Activity" will be released on DVD/Blu-ray. Synopsis: Actual footage of the events leading to the 2008 "murder" of Samantha Finley. This DVD, released against the wishes of the authorities, proves that nothing human caused Samantha's death.

I heard about this the other day and the fact it is supposed to be true footage (which didnt they try doing with the blair witch?) is all part of the build up hype around it! Ive found a link to it and its loading now. Its got the same mixed reviews as paranormal activity had, which i thought was shit! But im gunna give it a go soon, regardless of whether its is scary or not i refuse 2 watch films like this to late cos when my cat crawls on to my bed and wakes me up it freaks the marry out of me!!!

I do recommend for anyone that likes these types of films if you havent ever seen the 1981 film The Entity, it is worth a watch, its based on a true story where a women gets repeatedly raped by a poltergeist its is really good and scary, mind you i havent seen it for years though so how good it is now i dont know! Also i think its getting remade sometime next year!

What did you think of The Entity? I havent seen it since i was a kid so not sure if there scares are the same or not? But its deffo based on a true story!

it wasnt scary at all..quite predictable tbh..and, a ghost raping a normal woman? ok..and damn! she needs to shave her 'clunge'!

I remember watching the entity when i was younger. I thought is was kind of dull back then to be honest. I've never really been truly sacred by a film. I liked paranormal activity, it had a couple of good jumpy bits, but still the only thing to ever truly scare me was ghost watch when i was a kid.
