The Cube
The Matrix

They where said before but i prefer, old fasioned korean/japanese horror movies the most so sci fi isnt something i would go out of my way to watch. Cool or even remember unless its really good.

In order:

Event Horizon (Nothing I've seen comes close)
The Cube (I wanna go to the blue room!)
Terminator 2 (3 was a let down, 1 was ok, not great)
Barbwire (I like the idea of an apocoliptic setting...dunno why, just do)
X-Files Movie (I just like the X-Files)

PS: "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" was good as a film, but was a HUGE letdown if you've read the books. They should remake the series as it was written tho. Using the marvin from the film

Series' would be:

X-Files (got first 9 season in nice big boxsets and film, all special editions)
Farscape (got all four seasons, but my mate is copying Peacekeeper Wars 4 me)
Star Trek. Vayager (It's the only one I like, my mates obsessed with DS-9 tho)

Can't think of anymore sci-fi series' I follow really. thats about all the geekiness in me lol

Event Horizon was incredibly good. Anderson's only truly excellent film. I found Cube to be a letdown, i'd heard all these great things and it had a fantastic concept - but I found it to be a little bit dull. It could be so awesome if remade properly on a decent budget, in the wake of all these saw-ripoffs.

Also, Barbwire - wasn't that with Pamela Anderson? Hahaha, I didn't think anyone else had seen it. It was a pretty damn poor film, but entertaining all the same Very Happy

The Matrix 1,2,3

reloaded is the better of the 3 but great films. after you have watched them 15 times over to understand what is going on

Without a doubt, STAR WARS 1 - 6. Terminator 1 & 2 were good but let down by the 3rd installment. Spaceballs is another must to see if you never have before. How about Bicentennial Man (Robin Williams) and Men In Black? Do they both count? Regardless, they are great films in my opinion

I guess alot of the females out there don't watch Sci Fi. Here's my picks

1] The Road Warrior

2] The Blood of Heroes [if you can find it, RENT IT!!!]

3] All of the "Cube" movies [I pray for #4]

4] Battle Royale [from Japan, word on the street is there's gonna be a North American re-make]

5] Aliens - in this order - #2, #4, #1, #3

Blade Runner. Undoubtedly.

Also got to agree with AI, and the 'Cube' movies.

Brave New World was great. Although I'm probably biased because I loved the book.

Also not strictly sci-fi... but Battle Royale is a fantastic film. Pity the sequel was dross.
