Beautiful ship. Also the saucer seperation ability was chronically underused.
Mind you they more than made up for it with Generations

Khan (Noonian) was played by the fantastically named 'Ricardo Montalban' who also played Khan in the original TV series.
(And yes he was in at least one PotA film, 'Escape from PotA'!).
And you may recall he was also in 'Fantasy Island' as Mr Roarke (with the also fantastically named dwarf 'Herve Villechaize' as Tattoo)....but i'm drifting off topic....sorry
I like a bit of Star Trek, but as I have a short attention span I have favourite 'bits'....Chekov asking for 'Nuclear Wessels' being one...

NCC1701-E was a far superior ship,shields where better quantum torpedoes etc plus its faster than the galaxy class.just a shame they trashed it in nemesis

I also like sci-fi mags/comics, 'tho nothing like when I was younger. Marvel comics (along with The Beano etc) were a big part of my childhood.
