Ok, so I attempted to shed my blinkered, machismo outlook for a pleasant Sunday evening in the company of a young lady. I tried to be open minded, I swear.
I only managed to last an hour and it really was as foul as I had imagined - two cowboys bumming each other! What am I missing?

I have never watched that film, and being honest I don't think I ever will.
I just doesn't interest me.
Each to their own I suppose, I have heard that it is a good film.

The flm doesn't interest me. Sounds like another cowboy love film. The fact that it's 2 men makes no difference.

Well actually it's a really nice story, so what if it's 2 cowboys "bumming" each other.
It is a really lovely story and really well made, there is actually hardly and sex in it anyways.
That being said it got on my nerves a bit because they dont end up together, as the one guy is affraid to admit he's gay, which is terrible and a waste of love.

Truth is I didn't want to watch the film myself... Mostly because I thought it to be a really cheesy romantic flick and because I don't like that Jake Gylenhaaalll (whatever his name is).
Eventually watched it after dear Heath passed away, coz it was on tv... In the end it's not such a bad flick, but it ain't good either, however it's not as cheesy as I thought it to be, just 2 ounces less. The scenery is good. LOL And Heath is lovely... What can I say.

Actually, I still wouldn't go to see it, I'd have the DVD (Blueray too).....
If they did a scratch and sniff version, I'd have that too......
