They should bring back the cartoon, but they could never make a live-action version of Thundercats. No studio has the budget for the hairspray required for all that big hair.

Mumm-ra was fucking ace. Top cartoon badguy. He looked like a right nonce until he went batshit and threw his cloak off. Hardest. Mummy. EVER.

Cheetara was blatant jailbait though.

bet ya didnt know that they did make a live- action thundercats, wesley snipes was tigera, but it was never released!!!

I liked Racoons. Cyril Sneer was an aardvark. I've seen some episodes on the net. You lot can try looking on Youtube to see your fave cartoons again but if you do see them I reccommend you see it as soon as you can as it usually gets taken off.

I've never heard of a live-action Thundercats. Was this out in the 80's. I usually compare Thundercats to He-man and the He-man movie looked like a Star Wars rip-off.

My fave cartoons from my childhood (as you can tell I was born in the 80's)

Ducktales (I used to get up early for this)
Darkwing Duck (Ducktales spin-off)
Inspector Gadget
Transformers (live action movie is out in the summer)
Heathcliff (anyone remember? This has got to be the only kids show that features a player)

Thundercats Coming To The Big Screen
They're both on the run and loose

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, it had to happen. Last week we were told that He-Man and his Masters of the Universe are to get a second bite of the movie cherry, which drove many a reader to ask, "whither the Thundercats?". To which the answer is now: coming very soon!

Warner Bros has optioned a script by new writer Paul Sopocy based on the '80s cartoon. The script, according to Variety, is an origin story chronicling Lion-O's path becoming leader of the Thundercats as well as the creation of the villainous Mumm-Ra (The evAHHHHH LIVING).

All your favourite anthropomorphic felines – Tygra, Panthro, Cheetarah – will show up. So, who should be cast as the furniture scratching warriors? We're saying Ving Rhames should be a lock for Panthro. And Snarf could be played by that tabby that belongs to Mrs Scoggins and number 23.

X-Men, Transformers, now this. One-by-one, they are destroying everything I loved as a child.

Isn't there a DVD boxset of all the old cartoons?
