Nope i grew up with this movie. When i was 8/9 years old my cousin who was alot older was into electro & Breakdance & he use to watch this movie all the time & the influence rubbed off on me too . I love the scene where Turbo does that dance with the broom !

it's a classic , along with Breakin' 2 & Beat Street, but it's no Krush Groove

Breakin 2 was absolutely hilarious......a big step down from the first movie...
I agree with that part where Turbo is dancing outside the store with the broom...and the Kraftwork tune that he danced to was wicked as well!!!

The follow up was extremely cheesey...not surprising though, as it was a different director this time...
I really think Turbo was amazing, he taught Michael Jackson 'The Moonwalk' and appeared in that video...er....Moonwalker....lol (Oh, and he was the cat in that Paul Abdul music vid..'opposites attract'..
And I hear rumours that Aldolf Quinones (Ozone) is directing a prt 3 with some mordern day musicians appearing in it....
xx

i remember that from my yoof! i was very surprised to learn that jean claude van damme appears in breakin, on one of the beach scenes. i used to be into breakin me n my mate would sometime perform breakin at parties n stuff. breakin 2 was bit of a mess, hollywood tried to make it sugar coated and layered it with cheese throughout. its a shame but the other films, beat street and wildstyle were much more 'street'. according to IMDB mr qinones is in 'talks' so maybe we will get that 3rd episode with more up to date breakin in it like you see at the anual world breakdancing championships!

oh i see.... still.., i thought the film was brill!
Yes, I did notice Jean Claud Van Damme in that beach scene wearing the spandex..lol! He looked like he was really making the most of his time in that scene...lol
But yep...it would be wicked if that new movie (if it happens) has some of the best breakers in it!
