I saw this last night, and I thought that it sucked.

Just more of the same old shite.

Perhaps I expected too much from it, but I wanted something different.....

I waited all year for that too....bugger...

Thats disappointing Sad I'm really excited to see it, but I can see with all of the hype and exploitation of Heath Ledger's last performance that it could end up not living up to expectations. That sucks though..

Something I saw on facebook that made me laugh- "From the advertisements for the new Batman movie, I can't tell if Batman is actually in the film." Laughing

I once read the book 'Great Expectations'.

It wasn't all that I had hoped for. Very Happy

hahahahahaha....

I cant wait to go see the new Batman film, but it isnt out yet? Confused

I also wanted to see Hellboy last night (as went to the cinema) but that wasnt out either.

V. Upsetting.

Boyfriend suggested Wall-E and i snorted with disgust and said i wasnt going to go watch a childrens film, so he suggested Meet Dave with Eddie Murphy.

I bought myself a tub of Minstrels and we settled into our seats. ABout 35 minutes into the film i was so bored i was putting minstrels in my eyes, up my nose, throwing them at people in the front row, counting the lights in the ceiling, tapping my feet to any kind of musical beat, sighing loudly, groaning at bits that were clearly meant to be funny and were just embarrasing.

It was THE worst film i have EVER in my whole life watched.

EVER.

Even worse than Spice Girls the Movie and that is a shocker of a film!!

Yes indeedy, Meet Dave does suck, Wall-E is a good film though.

Hellboy II is just a little bit better than the first one too. (cos Selma Blair is in it, but not naked)

Damn! Is there an x-rated version where she is naked?

Did I just type that?

Don't ever say a bad thing about a Christian Bale film again.

Like I would dare to say anything about that bloke, he might kick my ass.

Is this where I get to name drop and say that I used to be friends with his mum when he was a lad, and that I printed the photos that got him the audition for Empire Under The Sun?

The more I think about it, the more brilliant Heath Ledger's role in Dark Knight seems. Completely different from anything he's ever done and absolutely BRILL. I keep on thinking about it...

Really hope they give him the OSCAR. I said I'd never care about the Oscars again after they ditched Joaquin Phoenix for the second time for Walk the Line. If they don't give it to Heather I don't think I'll ever be watching them again. And I've been watching them each year for like 12 years.

I thought the Dark Knight was hardly a Bale movie and I do love Bale, but I didn't care, not one bit... As I said... The joker... OH BOYO.

Anyhow, Choochiouuuuuuuuu... Towards the bad thing quote... Have you seen "Harsh times"? It's like a Bale ODE. A must see on the Big Screen. Unfortunately I saw it on dvd. Bale in suit, Bale in t-shirt. Bale up front, Bale from the back. Such a lovely flick. And also a great, great script. And I couldn't believe it that even Eva Longoria was like a Shadow in that flick. LOL Wonder how she accepted it. My Bale favs are American Psycho, Equilibrium and Harsh times. And I know this ain't the place to discuss Bale, but I can't be bothered to start a new topic.

I'd never even heard of Heath Ledger til he died. What else has he been in Bliss?

Well he's been in all sorts of romantic flicks... Mostly Bs. Considered to be just a pretty boy as far as I know... Until he did that Brokeback mountain flick about the two gay cowboys... Which got him in the Oscar nominees list. But he didn't win it. Didn't think he would anyway.

It's a good a place as any to discuss Mr Bale

I have seen Harsh Times. I liked it very much, also thought Equilibrium and American Psycho were good. Have you seen Reign of Fire? The Prestige/

I really want to see 3:10 to Yuma

Heath Ledger did some bloody good stuff too.
