I always liked 'Bottom' & 'The Young Ones'. Rik Mayall is a genius.

Also, a rarely mentioned sitcom that was hugely popular in the 90's was 'Game On' (With Samantha Janus).

That too was good!

Spaced + Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, The Mighty Boosh, The Office, I'm Alan Partridge

As for 2 pints...the worst. Even Ralph Little, who's in, says he just takes the money!!

With only 12 episodes ever made, Fawlty Towers probably is the best value. Never outstayed its welcome or jumped the shark (only 'The Anniversary' is anything less than superb)

The OFAH episode 'The Sky's The Limit' was on GOLD the other day - the one with the dodgy 'satellite dish'. I must have seen it about 50 times, but it just doesn't even come close to getting old. Brilliant writing, story arcs coming together and making sense, and most importantly cracking jokes:

'I feel like I've taken the mountain to Mohammed, only to find he's already bloody got one'

Funnily enough, on the topic of OFAH, the computer dating one - 'Dates' - on GOLD right now!

"So you told her you was a roadsweeper?"
"No, I said I was a bus conductor"
"Why?"
"To add a bit of glamour!"

Just brilliant

Only fools and horses wins it hands down! No show has ever and i doubt ever will come anywhere near as funny as it!

Trigger: If it's a girl they're gonna name it Sigourney, after the actress. And if it's a boy they're gonna name him Rodney, after Dave.

plus i used to love bottom and men behaving badly!
