howayas all
i`ve taken up scambaiting, and its great fun, send me all your scam mails and i will deal with them in the appropriate manner , but don`t bother with the lotto scams, theres not much fun to be had with them,
either leave the scam mail here with full headers and email adresses or mail them to me at <send me pm instead> i`m only interested in the scammers,
the full headers are important cos i can trace the scammers computer with them. your own mail address will be in the full header, please delete it before posting here or by PM. i`m not after your mail address only the scammers
if you want to know more about scambaiting then check out www.419eater.com, if you want to start then join the forum for hints and tips, most important is to keep your real id and location a secret
take care out there and safe surfing

cos this isn`t the way scammers harvest their mail addresses, they use programs which harvest millions from guestbooks, forums are too tricky to get into. if you set up catcher accounts, you leave the mail addys at guestbooks, which then get harvested, at present i`ve 4 catcher accounts, and recieve at least 20 a day in them, some are exactly the same, its fun to see the same "legal documents" with all my different characters names cut and pasted onto them.
so anyway, leave the scam mails here with full headers and i`ll get onto them. or PM me as the resident paranoid doc has suggested,
if anyone requires proof that i`m not a scammer then join the 419eater forum, search up SamSpudz and PM me from there, that forum is the most heavily "policed" and active forum i`ve joined, and any scammers that manage to make their way in get quickly shot out, ip addys are the key, cos anyone can have a .co.uk or .ie addy but the ip address is the giveaway, i`ve a few scammers on the go who claim to be in america, hong kong and holland, yet all their ips originate from central or west africa,
the love scammers are a different kettle of fish though, all seem to originate from Russia or ex communist states we call them Vlads, they just spend all day on the dating sites mailing out the same junk to as many people as possible before getting the boot, thats why on this site you get a mail from a Tanya or Lubov and when you check your mail here its not in the inbox, they are a bit more technically adept then the africans, the difference with the scams is that the Vlads pretend to fall in love with the victim before asking for money, usually for travel visas and passports, whereas the africans go straight for the money, with the claims of millions in the bank account and needing help to get it out of the country.
anyway check out 419eater for more info, and some brilliant scambaits in the letters archive, there`s a lot of reading and a helluva lot of laughing to do,
Kevin and lovecat , please edit your messages, i am a scambaiter, not a scammer.
take care out there, and safe surfing

tried to send you a potential scan artist but wouldn't go through because i don't have a picture

Lovecat just sent me a mail, i`ll be getting on to it as soon as i`ve set up a new catcher account, i`ve yet to have a female character. the mail sent to her was one of the standard introductions of 419 scammers on these dating sites,
the 419 scammers tell you about millions that they can`t get out of the country, and as the deal progresses they ask for administration and legal fees to be paid through western union or moneygram. these fees seem a pittance in comparison to what you will be getting at the end of the deal,
the F.B.I. estimate they make over $200 million a year out of America.
the Vlads on the other hand look for money to cover passports and visas then keep asking for money for this and that, the worst thing is they sometimes fool guys into thinking they`ve found that someone special, which can mentally destroy them when it becomes obvious they`ve been scammed.

and heres "my" reply, note the genuine interest and addition of "new to the internet", this will hopefully give him a false sense of security, the request for a picture is standard scambaiting stuff, which he will try to avoid, i might get a magazine scan, or a very bad fake passport, of which i have quite a collection.

Hello Nicholas
Thank you for your cheeky mail from Flirt box, My name is Edna i`m from Canada wow so you are from Ghana? i would love to visit there some day, maybe you could show me around, i`m very embaressed to say that i don`t know much about Africa, maybe you would take the time to teach me. now a little about me, i`m 34 single, slim and athletic, i love to read and take long walks, i love swimming, and i like a bit of domination,, i`m new to computers and the internet, and as yet i don`t know how to put pictures onto my computer let alone send them but i`m getting lessons so i will be able to do it soon:) would you mind sending me your picture please, maybe with somewhere famous in your local area in the background, i would really like to know more about Ghana and i`d really like to see it, maybe you could wear the traditional Ghana outfit, there are many Africans living in Canada and some of them wear the most beautiful colored clothes, i would like to see you wearing something bright. i think African Clothes are much more interesting then Canadian clothes i must go now Nicholas i await your mail take care Edna Brady |
