I have become very good at spotting scammers these days just by reading their profile, nearly fell for a scammer once a few years ago but found out just in time. Now I study the profile and very often they make basic mistakes which you just have to search for. now I can smell a scammer miles off

nearly all paid for dating sites r nothing but scams. The biggest scam dating site is Eharmony closely followed by match.

Eharmony has been done for false advertising several times and been banned from every country outside the USA. But they still operate in the countries they have been banned from.

1st part of the scam is taking 2 hrs to fill out the form to join the site with very detailed info that they want. Thye want to know what ur job is by selecting it on a dropdwon menu. If ur job is not listed they wont let u join. So to get in there u have to lie. Thye want to know how much u eran each year again with a dropdown box to choose the amount.
Once they say OK u can join u get a msg saying the joining fee is normaly £250 but u have been awarded free entry.

Next is the matches. u get 1 match and u have to pay to see their profile.. usualy its someone the complete oppostie of what u said u were looking for. IE with me i said someone within 10 miles of were i lived slim to average 30 to 50. What i got was a womand who was 80 very obese and lived in Los angels which isnt even in the UK let alone 10 miles.

Then u have to send them at least 10 msgs which u have to pay for before u can say no next match please. The questions r also a drop down box for u to select what question to ask. When u get a msg again u have to pay to read it u get a drop down box with the answers u can give.

It makes it impossible to actualy talk to them properly or ask to meet u anywhere or give out contact details. Which is why they got done for false advertising as they claim more ppl met and married in the USA than any other dating site but in reality no one has ever met through that site.

They also want u to pay an anuel fee to be on the site which at the time was £2,500 a year and for that u got a 50% discount for sending and reciving msgs and looking at profiles. It was £5 per msg u send and read and for each profile u wanted to look at.

Even filling out the application form was very bad and very racist. Ethnic orgin had a drop down list and if ur ethnic wasnt on the list u cant join. same with religion. If ur religion isnt listed u cant join. Its run by a church and they only allow Jews, christians and muslims on the site.

They wont allow low end jobs either its all top end jobs. Even the anual wages minium is higher than most earn. So most who join have lied about their job and how much they earn and most probably their religion as well.

I was working as a taxi driver at the time. that job wasnt listed. i was earning £4k a week and that wasnt enough for them. the minimum wage they would accept then was £100k a year. No self employed allowed.
So i lied on just about every question to get on there just to see if they were as good as they claim . Whole thing is just a scam to fleece the vulnrable who want to find a date.

Found match.com as it was then run by microsoft nearly as bad. very expensive and no matches for what i put i was looking for all were thousands of miles away.

The only real dating sites ive found with very few scams r the free dating sites like this.
