I am not proud to announce this but I have been scammed by men on this site and wish for others to be aware of them:

1) Peter Morgan claiming to work for a large oil company lost his wife due to Cancer and is alone with his son has had an offer to come to Africa chose Nigeria because it was close to South Africa, brought his son along so that we could meet, After arriving in Nigeria his son got ill and needed to go to a hospital he was in Owerri City and couldnt use his credit card there and asked me to pay the Doctor via moneygram or Western Union. I contacted a Nigerian professor I knew at work and asked him to check it out for me. He confirmed that it was a Nigerian 419 scam.

2) Patrick (Paddy) Marshall claims to be in pure Arts and Paintings and ex Bitish Airforce wing commander and owns Hay Hill Gallery in the UK, also travelled to africa to purchase paintings, also travelled with his son to meet me,also lost his wife due to Cancer before he could ask for money I was already aware of the scam coming my way.

Please ladies don't be vulnerable and never give out money and remember the person in the picture might be a Nigerian Scammer they set up facebook and linked-In profiles and everything looks real, please be careful! Be aware of their use of vocabularly and they claim to have a Masters qualification, don't be mislead!

People will still fall victim to scammers no matter what warnings you give, 'but he's genuine... blah blah' the content of the stories are virtually cut and paste jobs... they know how to make vulnerable people feel special, and they use romance and poetry, anything to make people think that they are sensitive and caring......sad really
